Keep. Moving. Forward.
Every day is a quiet invitation to start fresh. That’s the rhythm of the Franciscan way. St Francis became new, again and again, choosing God in the ordinary, the messy, the unfinished. The path to God isn’t about standing still or “having arrived.” It’s about movement, constant, humble, sometimes uncomfortable change. Growth of the soul requires letting go of what no longer leads us closer to love, peace, and truth. Real transformation is found in daily decisions:
• choosing patience over reaction
• forgiveness over holding on
• simplicity over excess
• trust over fear
St Francis teaches us that change isn’t something to fear, it’s the doorway to freedom. As long as we are alive, we are invited to begin again.
» Let go of one thing weighing on your heart – grudge, worry, or expectation
» Do one small act of kindness, especially when it’s inconvenient
» End the day with gratitude, not perfection
You don’t need to change everything at once. Just don’t stop moving forward. Because in God’s grace, every step, no matter how small, is already a new beginning.
