Garden of Grace
The Flowers of St. Francis
Sometimes we wait for the “perfect place” to grow. The right people. The right timing. The right conditions. But “Wherever you are, bloom beautifully there.” St Francis didn’t wait for comfort or ideal circumstances. He found God in broken places, in simplicity, in the ordinary. He didn’t chase a better environment, he became a better presence within it.
Blooming isn’t about where you are. It’s about how you choose to live where you are.
You can bloom in uncertainty by trusting God. You can bloom in difficulty by choosing peace over frustration. You can bloom in the ordinary by living with love, intention, and humility.
Even in seasons that feel dry or unnoticed, something is growing within you.
So today, don’t wait to be somewhere else.
Don’t wait to feel “ready.”
Plant kindness where there is tension.
Bring light where things feel heavy.
Choose joy, even in small ways.
Because holiness doesn’t begin when everything is perfect, it begins right where you are. And that is where your most beautiful blooming begins.
